1. Terms of Use

By accessing and utilizing Passprint, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.

2. License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access our platform and use our automated AI tools for passport photo framing and layout cropping. You agree that:

• You have the legal right and permission to upload and process any photos you submit to the service (including photos of studio clients).
• You will not use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, including creating counterfeit identification images.
• You will not attempt to scrape or reverse engineer our cropping algorithms or platform services.

3. Credit System & Payments

Access to paid plans and AI processing uses a credit-based system. Subscriptions and credits are separate: your subscription controls your plan tier, premium features, and auto-renewal. Credits are your purchased processing balance and remain yours unless used for a successful process or adjusted under these Terms.

3.1 How credits are used

• One credit per process: One credit is deducted for each successful AI photo process (background removal and compliance framing).
• Failed processing: If background removal or face detection fails, the credit for that attempt is automatically refunded to your balance. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
• Usage order: When you process a photo, credits are used in this order: current period plan credits first, then rollover credits, then one-time pack credits.

3.2 Plan credit allowances

• Free plan: 3 credits every 72 hours for accounts on the Free tier. The reset timer is shown in your dashboard. Free-tier resets apply only to the standard Free allowance and do not remove purchased credits you already hold.
• Pro plan: 100 credits per billing period (monthly or annual subscription cycle).
• Pro+ plan: 300 credits per billing period (monthly or annual subscription cycle).

3.3 Rollover & credit packs

• Period renewal: At the start of each paid billing period, you receive a fresh plan credit bundle (100 for Pro, 300 for Pro+).
• Rollover:Unused plan credits from the current billing period may roll over into the next period once, up to your plan's bundle size. Rollover credits expire at the end of the following billing period if not used.
• Credit packs: One-time credit packs purchased separately are added to your balance and do not roll over between billing periods. Pack credits remain in your account until used.
• Returning to a paid plan: If you resubscribe to Pro or Pro+ while you still hold purchased credits, your remaining balance is preserved and new plan credits are added on top. For example, 200 remaining credits plus a new Pro renewal of 100 credits results in 300 credits total.

3.4 Payments

• Purchases are processed securely through Razorpay. Prices are shown on the Pricing page at checkout and may include applicable taxes.
• Paid plan credits are granted when payment is verified. Billing cycle (monthly or yearly) is shown at checkout and in your account.

4. Subscription Cancellation

If you have purchased a monthly or yearly Pro or Pro+ plan, you may cancel your active subscription at any time from the Manage Plan page. Cancellation schedules your subscription to end at the close of the current billing period; it does not remove credits you have already purchased or earned.

• No further renewal charges: After you cancel, no further subscription renewal payments will be charged.
• Access until period end: Your current plan benefits and full remaining credit balance stay usable until the end of your current billing period.
• Keep subscription: Before the billing period ends, you may choose Keep subscription to resume auto-renewal and cancel the scheduled cancellation.
• After the billing period ends: If your subscription was cancelled, your account is automatically moved to the Free plan. Pro and Pro+ premium features are disabled. Your purchased credits (including any rollover and pack credits) are not deleted, reset, or forfeited and remain in your balance for future use.
• Renewal later: You may purchase Pro or Pro+ again at any time. New plan credits are added to your existing purchased balance as described in Section 3.3.
• Cancellation does not automatically refund completed credit purchases or past subscription payments unless required by law or approved under our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Disclaimers & Compliance

While our AI tools are trained to meet standard governmental and international ICAO passport guidelines (including background thresholds and head ratios), it is your responsibility to verify the printed physical sheets before presenting them to passport offices or immigration bureaus. We are not liable for passport application rejections or subsequent business losses.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
